Brooke Shields Didn't Ditch The Red Carpet, But Heels For Matching Crocs
For Brooke Shields, comfort appears to reign supreme, be it a casual outing or a red-carpet attendance. So, at the 77th annual Tony Awards on Sunday, the veteran actress took some respite from the summer heat in a not-so-fitted vivid yellow gown. Plucked out from the shelves of designer label Monique Lhuillier, the monotone silhouette featured a small bustle element to accentuate her hips. The sequin-adorned bodice made it hard to take our eyes off the diva. The deep V-neckline extending to her midriff played the risque factor. Mesh detailing on the front doubled up the bold quotient. A small yellow bow secured at the hem of the bodice spruced up her look. But that was not all. Brooke Shields challenged the existing fashion norms in terms of footwear by slipping into an unconventional pair of yellow Crocs. Safe to say, brave and beautiful could easily be her middle name.

With her OOTD and Crocs slippers making all the noise, Brooke Shields needed minimal accessories to amp up her summer-coated avatar. Stacked gold bracelets, a chunky ring, and pearl earrings were just enough. Minimalism was seen in her makeup choices too as Ms Shields went for rosy-contoured cheeks on a matte base. Muted smokey eyes and a pink lipstick framed her face beautifully. The final touches of elegance were brought on by her sleek open hairdo.
At the 2024 Drama Desk Awards in New York, Brooke Shields made a metallic entry on the red carpet. For the event, she chose to wear a Dries Van Noten-crafted gold jacquard midi dress. The shiny ensemble came with a distinct square neckline and multiple leaf prints, dominating the entirety of the strappy fit. The Mother of the Bride actress made a chic case in golden hoops, layered bracelets, and a floral-embellished choker. Those tinted sunglasses screamed uber-cool. She wore her brunette locks in waves and sealed her glamorous avatar with subtle beauty strokes.
Previously, for a dinner date with her husband and television writer Chris Henchyrooke in 2008, Brooke Shields once again resorted to wearing neon pink Crocs, complementing her fuchsia pink halter-neck gown.
